Hey mom and dad and jake and ashlee,

 

How are you guys doing? ive been doing quite well here in McKenna. its a fairly small town but we still have a Wal-Mart so its all good. the work has been going well this week were baptizing a guy named mark Harris he has been working with the missionaries for years now and so we where able to get him on date to be baptized. Im really grateful that we have been able to do that, the moment I met him I knew we would baptize him so im really happy about that. The other day while we where knocking doors we didn't have much success but towards the end of our two hour knocking session we turned down a road, when we turned down the road it just felt right. we met a kid named Donald who is interested in the gospel  and wants to take the steps to baptism. Im so grateful to be out here and be having all the success that we've had the only explanation is that this is gods work and I simply have the privilege oh serving him. Its hard sometimes but its well worth it. will you guys please let becky and grandma and grandma and grandpa know that im doing well. im so thankful to be out here doing the lords work. Hey how are you guys doing whats new? anything exciting?

Hey guys,

 

Something that i have really struggled with is writing you guys :( im really sorry. They only give us an hour to email and it goes by fast. I usually email sarah her and i have grown really close during my mission so im so sorry for neglecting you guys. Will you forgive me. Im going to create a list of people who haven't heard from me and start sending a weekly email to all of you guys. I really love my mission it is the greatest experience of my life the lord is helping me perfect myself everyday the mission is a growing experience :) Okay so my new companion is elder jones he is really cool hes from Layton Utah and hes just a really good missionary he is dedicated to the work. I love being here in lacey.

Two days ago we were able to go put a guy named mark harris on date for baptism, his whole family is active and he comes to church every week but just hasn't been baptized the missionaries have tried for years... i feel a strong connection to mark so im happy that hes made the discisoin to be baptized. I love you guys, Keep your heads up i know that the lord is watching over you guys. Trust him.

Hey becky im getting transferred to lacy :) its right by Olympia so im really excited about that :) becky why are you always hurt :( you need to be careful and you need to start drinking milk! ha ha becky I sure do miss you and grandma. the work is going really well in fact we baptized three children of god this sunday which was an amazing experience :) I love them so much there names are jaedyn, Colby, and tyrone. im so happy okay so my new address is... 16510 creek lane SE #2 Yelm, WA 98597. I cant wait to hear how good the utes are going to be this year! Undefeated most likely. Anyways I miss you becky and I hope your having an awesome summer , keep up the good exercise. How are you guys doing? im doing great yesterday we had a 3 baptisms and it was an awesome experience :) we baptized jaedyn, Colby, and tyrone. im so happy that I got to leave forks on a high note. ive been called to a new area which im excited about because its always nice to have a new area to get you pumped up about missionary work. Im going to lacy which is by the state capital Olympia to the McKenna ward ill have my address soon so ill send you guys a letter this week :) I know that I was sent to forks for a reason and I feel like I was able to do my best work while I was there. My new companion is going to be elder jones so that should be cool! thank you guys for all of your support and love! Jake and ashlee I miss you guys! Jake let me know when you get your mission call I want to know when youll be arriving here in the wa tac ha ha I think it would be totally awesome to train you! Hey mom how are you doing? are you and the family doing well? im sorry that i  haven't sent a good email in a few weeks so hopefully i can fill you in on some things that are going on up here in forks:) so today its really hot and muggy it feels like 1000 degrees outside ha ha i love you guys so much i hope each one of you guys reads your book of Mormon and prays continually everyday the world is such a scary place these days and its easy to be swept away by the filthy waters that are raging beneath us. If we hang on to the rod and realize were all human beings that need the help of the lord we will be uplifted and protected. The work is going really well and im seeing a lot of miracles the lord had been so merciful to me and he has blessed me so much for the service im rendering him. I love being out here on my mission! pray always that ye may come off conqueror that ye may conquer satan. i may be transferred out of forks in about a week and a half president weaver doesn't like leaving anyone up here too long but i hope he lets me stay another transfer because there is much work for me to finish up here i love forks! well i love you guys, Love elder hulet

Hey guys how are you doing?? I love you guys so much! this week was an awesome week elder piper of the quorom of the seventy toured our mission it was pretty awesome! after the mission tour president weaver picked missionaries to be interviewed by him and i was one of the privliged missionaries who got to be interviewed by him. Im so grateful to be out here! the road may be long and rocky but i know the lord is guiding me to a happy life. Im so grateful for the atonement its the best thing in my life. I love you guys keep your heads up and never forget you are children of our father in heaven. Let me know whats going on with jakes mission process :) I love you thank you for the birthday gifts :)

Hey guys i want you to know how thankful i am to have such a good family to love and support me. How are you guys all doing? So we found out that one of the recent converts we had Jolene was a scam artist. she is a drug dealer and she was getting baptized under different names so that she could get free rent on expense of the church. Its kind of a bummer but on the bright side were working with my last recent converts mom

nance. She is really solid and is on date for the 29th of june. Im so happy that we can help her out :) the work is going quite well ive had a few rough days in the past weeks but thats life. I hope you guys are doing well i love you and miss you.

I love you guys so much its so good to be out here. This week was a hard one for me probably the hardest week ill have on my mission. But i gave a talk on forgiveness this week and it gave me the support i need to keep carrying on. Im so happy for jake he is the man and im stoked that hes working on his papers. I think he'll go to argentina or something. . is ashlee driving yet? ha ha she is so short shell need a booster seat jk ashlee i love you. Elder rasmussen and i get along well. were having a great time and we are loving the work. yeah i think ill be transferred in about 4 weeks president doesnt like keeping missionaries up here too long because its pretty hard being out in the boonies. Dear Mom and Family,

 

Oh guys let me tell you. Im loving forks :) we had a baptism on sunday which was really awesome! Her name is crystal Watson. It was really sweet to baptize her. We found crystal a few weeks ago while knocking doors, when we rolled up to her house she was standing outside with a guy named will. she told us that she had just been watching a preacher on television and she was touched. When we showed up she knew that we had been sent from the lord. Crystal is awesome she has given up drinking and smoking in two weeks! So she's getting confirmed next sunday :) I love you guys and miss you all so much. I love it here in forks ive been able to do a lot of good work here. Last night on conference call in front of the whole mission he gave me props for working so hard and turning forks around I feel very honored that he said that. To be honest its not me, im just willing to help the lord in his work. I freaking love this work so much, one night I had a dream that I had to go home and to be honest I hated it! Guys I love you so much were going to have so much fun when I get home! Jake, Way to go bro! you are freaking awesome and I love you. Ashlee you are too. Dad, I love you. And last but not least Mom, I love you so much. Ha ha I bet you guys don't even miss me! Hey when I get home I hope the big room is clean ha ha. ive got a new comp elder Rasmussen, Hes awesome we get along great! During our 5 to 7 (which is when we knock doors) We entered a gate and once we knocked, 7 huge dogs came running around to the front door! so intense! there was a pitbull, a great dane and a bunch of other mean suckers ha ha we made friends with them so they wouldn't bite us.

How are you guys doing sorry about last week I had a hard time writing you guys. Its kind of funny when I make it to pday I just want to go out and play! The work is going really well out here we have a few people were trying to get baptized right now. Deanna long, crystal, will, and sam. They are all really great people who were trying to get baptized. Im so grateful to be out here in the mission field right now! Behold I am a disciple of jesus Christ I have been called of him to declare his word among his people that they might have everlasting light. I recite this every morning before I go out. My faith has really grown this last transfer ive had the great experience to work really hard. Just when I think I have it figured out I fall. The savior is my one constant hope, he has never failed me.

 

Mom, how are you doing? is everything going well back at home? are jake and ashlee giving you a hard time about doing chores?? ha ha jk they have usually been better than me when It comes to chores. Dear Mom and Family,

 

I want you guys to know how much i love and miss you guys! Im loving my mission right now we are totally tearing up the area right now! we had a baptism this week his name is robert woods we kind of had to baptize him on the spot because the only reason why he was staying in forks was so we could baptize him, now hes on his way to new mexico! On sunday a lady walked into the church and asked us if we could teach her the lessons and get baptized the work is really going well up here in forks and we also have about 24 investigators right now. The lord is preparing his people to hear the message and accept it so were looking for those people. Its hard work i wont lie but i love it!! I have without a doubt a testimony of the truth of this work and the divinity of the church and the gospel! I love you guys so much i cant wait to see you on sunday :) okay so were going over to the lougis for dinner and skypeing on sunday so it will be 5 oclock in utah so please invite becky and grandma as well. Dear Hulet Family,

first of all i would like to tell all of you how much i love and miss you guys! Im loving the mission and forks is a way cool area there are many indian tribes up here and also alot of rednecks ha ha but no i havent seen any vampires yet. The work here is good. before i got here the area was really struggling and since ive been here weve had 6 new investigators each week and two people are on date for baptism! robert and zack. But the reason why were getting so much sucess is because the lord had been preparing these people for the gospel all im doing is sharing it with them. forks is a really cool place and is very scenic. Yeah i think sarah actually got me a brick from the building! but let jake know that i am really happy for him and his decision to serve a mission its for everyone there are all sorts of elders out here i know jake is going to make a great missionary! anyways i love you guys :)]

Im loving forks it is a really cool place. there are alot of indian tribes up here so ive been on a few reservations its pretty cool. Im sorry to be so breif but im loving my mission and i love you guys. Tell my friends i say hi. here are some pictures. This area has been pretty run down by members and bad missionaries... yes there is such a thing. but since ive been here we have 6 new investagators and the lord is really working with us to get this area back on its feet. Yesterday we knocked 7 houses and now 5 of them are new investigators. I know the lord has a hand in all of the work here. Dilligence and obedience are the price we have to pay but joy is the reward. Dear Family

I want you to know how much i appreciate all the things you sent to me :) for some reason i keep emailing becky but she doesnt respond. Is she out of work or something? But anyways i want you and dad to let grandma and becky and grandma and grandpa know that i love them and that im loving the mission field! I feel pretty bad for not writing everyone back but im really busy all the time and when im not busy i usually like to relax. So next week is transfers so if you are going to send me a letter or anything dont send it after wednesday! I really want to go to a new area but at the same time there are alot of people i still want to see baptized, Im torn! But whatever happens i know that i did my best and the lord has a purpose for it. Hail, amanda, and Andrew are all really close to being baptized. Im so grateful for all of the wonderful experiences im having on my mission even if some guy wanted to shoot us. If he did im sure the lord would protect us. So i really hope i get transferred to the lakewood zone. Did you know thats where the tv show cops was started? Usually people who live in the low income areas are more likely to accept the gospel because they are looking for something to make their lives better and thats exactly what the gospel does, the rich just dont realize it and im kind of in a rich area. But anyways i want you all to know that i love you and this morning i was reading mosiah 26 i found alot of good verses in there! I want you to know that i know that joseph smith is a true prophet, and that jesus christ's church is again on the earth today. Im so grateful to be out here i love you guys dearly!

Hey guys hows it going this week? Hey i want you all to know how much i loved my easter package i love you guys! hey i havent heard from grandma or becky in a while so let them know i love them too and all my relatives. Okay so thats great to hear that you are doing well back at home i pray for you guys every night. Everything here is going well im loving the area im in and we have alot of potentials right now but we need to get them baptized. So if you can pray for andrew mcdonald and his family that they will accept the gospel we really want see them get baptized. But things here are going great and the weather here in the wa tac is great weve had 3 beautiful days in a row. The other night while we were knocking doors a guy threatened to shoot us with his pistol ha ha why would you shoot someone trying to share the gospel? And then a few doors down we met a lady who said she knew the gospel was true right when we opened the door so were going to go back and get her baptized her name is eva. Anyways thank you so much for all the love and support you guys give me. I love you guys so much.

Dear Hulet Family,

Hey guys its been a great week here in the wa tac! Im so greatful to be here and i love every minute of it. Sometimes its hard being a missionary but for the most part its alot of fun and everyday is an adventure! Okay so this week we had a great blessing of getting lester to church so that he could be confirmed and given the gift of the holy ghost. Lester has a really bad back so he has a hard time making it to church on sundays but this week he was determined to make it. He sat through sacrament meeting in alot of pain. It was a blessing from the lord that he could make it. This has been a great transfer. Im so excited to hear that jake is getting ready for his mission itll be here sooner than he knows! i hope he has his call before mothers day! maybe he could open his call over our skype?? anyways i love you guys and i pray for you guys every day! I want you guys to know that the lord lives and loves each one of us. He paid the price for our sins and rose again on the third day, This is his church and im grateful to be his servant.

Okay so i want to tell you guys about my week. 

So earlier this week i went on an exchange with elder holt and while we knocked we came across a black preacher and he had the cliche black preacher voice. he was very thug ha ha anyways ive gained a better appreciation of knocking doors because we are really just trying to find the people who are ready and so i think knocking can really be a strong point for me! I love it! Yesterday while knocking we knocked into a lady named kate she had just gotten back from church when we asked her if she wanted to hear a message about jesus christ. We taught the restoration on her front porch, and the spirit was very strong. shes down to have us come back and learn more! we are also teaching a boy named tony a few days ago we knocked into tony as we shared the message of the restoration he felt the spirit and we put him on date to be baptized right then and there. he is a great kid! also patrick has been baptized and confirmed. And also a boy named andrew and his mother shawn are taking the lessons from us andrew is going to pick a date to be baptized next time we go over! Im so grateful to teach him! It just goes to show how powerful the youth of this generation are! Im grateful to the lord for all the prosperity weve been having, it is by his hand that we can share this message to people who are ready!!! I love this gospel and i love my savior jesus christ!

Hey guys how are you doing?? Im so glad to hear everything at home is going well and that you guys are finding sucess in life. :) Im so glad to hear that natasha is getting bapized!! i had no idea she wasnt a member i always assumed that she was a member of the church! But this week in the WA TAC has been great! Elder gardner and i had a baptism! Patrick Doyle was baptized and confirmed on saturday and sunday :) im so happy to see him baptized he is such a great kid! He is the only one in his family now that is a member but his family was at the baptism and they were really emotional so were going to start teaching them this week :) ill send some pictures with this e mail. Lester still needs to be confirmed so keep praying for him, hali is still preparing to be baptized and amanda is getting married and baptized on saturday so keep praying for her as well. Andrew is a 15 year old boy who wants to be baptized and his mom is also investigating the church as well! so were having alot of sucess. Im greatful that i could meet all of these people they are changing my life. Chirst is changing my life as i follow him. Im so grateful to be here its truly the greatest expirence of my life. Hey will you guys invite sarah over during her spring break?? :) and also for mothers day so i can talk to her on the phone ha ha thank guys. so whats going on at home with everyone?? How is jake ashlee and dad doing Please let them read this letter! mom i love you and im greatful you have raised me in the gospel of jesus christ. There are two types of people those who live the gospel and those who study it and wonder why it doesnt work... well its because they dont live it. as you guys live the gospel i know your life will be blessed so much becasue that is the true way to being closer to our savior. I know jesus christ is my savior and i know that this is the church of jesus christ in these latter days, and i know thomas s monson is a true prophet of the lord. Hey Hulet Family,

 

I love you guys! Ive been pretty busy this last week and really quite exhausted. Since weve switched to bike everyday has been a workout so waking up has been hard! Yesterday we tried making juavos rancheros for breakfast and i accidentally poured too much flour into the eggs it turned out to be really spicey and gross! Patrick is getting baptized this next week and i am so happy for him he is 15 years old. He is such a great kid it makes me excited that one day he may serve a misson! Jake and ashlee i hope you guys are enjoying life right now, I miss you guys quite a bit you are some of my best friends even tho i didnt act like it when i was living at home. I hope both of you guys get to come out and serve the lord because it is so much fun and Amazing. Amazing grace is what saves us all. Its real! Because of it you can become who you want to become and who the lord wants you to become. The lord is helping me become the man ive always wanted to be. Im truly humbled to be here, theres no where else in the world i would rather be right now. Fear and doubt is the opposite of faith. You guys can do ANYTHING with the help of the lord! Dang i love you guys so much. I pray for you guys all the time!

Dear Family!

Its really good to hear that you are having alot of success at home i pray for you guys and love you so much! actually i want to set up a skype for my mother's day call  for that if you canAnyways im stoked to see you and dad get in good shape im also getting in great shape ill be on bike this whole next transfer which sucks but im excited. Things are going really well, but our mission is losing two areas to the federal way area so i could be transferred to another mission :( but right now im staying in firgrove for another six weeks thankfully they dont keep missionaries here very long because I want to stay in the washington tacoma mission and i think i will! but yeah graham and puyallup are leaving ill probably be in tacoma or lacey by the summer i wont be here hopefully when the change is made. Okay this week pray for lester to make it to church to be confrimed and hali, patrick, and amanda they are all getting dunked this weekend :) Im so grateful to be a missionary of this true church the only true and living church on the earth today. I know the savior walkes with all of us through are trials.

Dang thanks for the update, Yeah our mission is losing two areas to the federal way mission because of that and right now im currently in one of those dang areas! the change happens july 1 so ill know may 28 if im leaving or not but most likely ill be transferred by then ive been in this area my whole mission so i should be leaving pretty soon like next transfer. But im so glad brian johnsen got curbed, is he still the qbs coach because im okay with that just not offensive coordinator ha ha yeah the utes will get back on top agian. How about march maddness are either of our teams in it?? Dang jazz i wish they would do better! But yeah we have three baptisms this weekend so pray for hali amanda and patrick that they will all go thru with it. Becky thanks for talking to sarah i love her and im starting to think that she will be around when i get home. If things click ill marry her, so keep her close and let her know i love her. But yeah im sorry about the cliff thing maybe i could talk to the south hill elders and get them over to his house ill still call him. But i love you and grandma keep writing me!

Hey guys,

 

Mom i love you but dont you think dad should be your valentine? ha ha just kidding but yes the gospel is good and it changes peoples lives ive seen so much happiness and joy come from living the gospel and see others live the gospel. So i have and infection on my chest and the doctor in the ward is putting me on a antibiotic for a few months so it goes away the mission is paying for my perscription. but yes i still live in the same place we have transfer calls next week but i hope i stay one more transfer! There are a few people who i still want to see get baptized before i go. Elder Gardner and i have 3 people on date for next month and they are really solid! Elder Gardner is a good guy and we have fun! 

 

 Pray for hali, Amanda, Patrick, and Jarded. They are all really close to getting baptized and we could use the extra prayer. Fasting works the other day we were having a hard time putting hali on date but after our fast. Some of the other Elders and Sisters at church had a feeling that march 10th was right for her, So we asked her and now she has committed to being baptized on that date! im so happy for her! she is truly amazing :)

Hey Hulet Family,

 

Hows it going everyone? Has the snow melted yet? I cant believe how much snow your getting, i would love to shred all that snow! ha ha but yeah my week has been really good earlier in the week we went on exchange with the zone leaders. It was a good experience but the zone leaders apt. sucks and especially their mattresses. My apt is one of the newer missionary apts so everything is really nice. On sunday the 17 we got to baptize lester and on sunday confirm him a member of the church! :) it was a really cool experience seeing him before and after his baptism! Night and Day. It was pretty cool having my first baptism i was pretty nervous but everything turned out great! He showed up 10 minutes late to his own baptism so that was really stressful! Yesterday i recieved my valentines day package, mom and becky and whoever else helped to organize it THANK YOU :) I really appreciated hearing from everyone, such a good boost! OH and will you guys forward this letter to grandma and grandpa hulet? wow i cant belive sarah howard is going on a mish, thats totally unexpected but tell her thanks for the letter and that ill write her back. By the way lester was a complete miracle, his whole life hes been hard because of the decisions he made early on. He used to be in a gang, he started smoking when he was 6 years old and his back has gone out on him at the age of 34. But he has such a good outlook on life and what the gospel has done for him. His conviction of the savior is so strong, after he was baptized he just sat in the font and said he was buzzing from the holy ghost. ha ha he realates the holy ghost with drugs when he feels it. But its so good to see how happy he is and how his life is changing! :) Sorry my letters havent been that great i just am really busy so when i get a chance to relax i dont really like typing letters, but i promise to do better from now on. And mom ill upload some pictures today.

 

Mom: Hey mom how is the weight loss going are you having fun working out and stuff? Are you still working at the red hanger? Mom thank you so much for the valentines package it was so nice! My companion elder gardiner is a really good guy we get along really well and were having alot of success in the area. Well i love you mom bye

 

Dad: Hey dad hows it going? Does ashlee like her new room? i think she can just keep the room and ill try to move out asap once i get home. But i miss you dad i hope we can get tickets to some jazz and utes games when i get home i want to do more things together with you and jake.

 

Jake: Jake whats up my man? I feel like its been forever since ive heard from you and the letter from the valentines package was awesome man. dude i joke with other missionaries about you coming to this mission and me training you. dude that would be so cool if you came here! but i bet youll go to england or something like that i bet youll go far away. so whats the word any cool new video games coming out lately? as a missionary your pretty sheltered from media if your obedient. But dude before you know it youll be out here and man is it fun everyone has fun out here if you let it! I seriously thought it was going to be miserable but no its really fun and the people you meet change your life and you change theirs. Dude jake i miss you duuude. when we are both back were going on a vacation to the beach in cali. Love you man write me back!

 

Ashlee: Hey ashlee whats new? Are you loving school or maybe not so much? oh well school is meant to be boring just remember to keep getting good grades because you are one smart girl! its funny theres a bus down the road that has the s and the h missing so it says cool bus ha ha i think its pretty funny. So is there anything you are curios about being a missionary? wow you will get to go when your 19 it seems like all the girls are going now, dont get left out :) Ashlee i miss you and love you.

 

Guys i love you so much. remember to always love eachother because we are family.I know that this gospel changes people because the savior changed people. Without works our faith is dead it means nothing if we dont do something about it. The prophet joseph smith new this. His life was devoted to acting on the knowlege he had been given in building the church of jesus christ again on the earth. You cant just expect the lord to do everything, he created you to do great things and expects you to do them so have the courage to be heard. No task is too big to accomplish! Hey whats up guys,

 

Things here in firgrove are really good elder gardner and i are having alot of sucess because of the lord. We are being obedient and we are recieving miracles in return. Last week at church we were short on our goal of new investigators and on sunday we were worried we wouldnt meet our goal. But that day at church we met a non member named amanda. Amanda has had a hard life she got involved in some really bad things when she was in her early teen years. Kevin her boyfriend is a member coming back to the church, so weve been teaching her over the last two weeks and shes getting baptized on the 2nd of march! Its so good to see the gospel changing their lives and their happiness. Also lester one of my favorite investigators is getting baptized on sunday! He is such a good guy, He too has had a very hard life. But to see him at church on sunday is the coolest thing he is really growing closer to his savior jesus christ. Hel loves the Gospel! Its cool to see all of his tatoos he"ll have the most in the ward ha ha but yeah i love this work! Life in washington is way nice people are really friendly for the most part, the area im in is kind of like our neighbor hood back home so its kinda weird ha ha. I know this church is true that jesus lives that joseph smith is a prophet and that the atonement is real! Accept the atonement, because your not perfect and never will be on this earth! So be patient with yourself and if your having struggles remember that its for your own good. If you never give up on the savior he will never give up on you. So put your faith in him do your best to keep your head up. Remember to be happy and have fun in your life. If your not having fun your not living right!

So since im in a pretty nice area i havent had any bad meals because all the members have money and they feed us well.

Hey mom, and family,

Hey so yeah thats cool i that the ravens won i wish the broncos could have won but o well. Hey so im going to update more photos. Yeah the transfer was great i love my new comp he is way cool and we are getting close to getting some people baptized by the priesthood authority! Yeah i love it out here its rains as usual but thats okay because i cant really do anything other than work! ha ha but i want you to know that i love you guys and i want you all to email me! Jake and Ashlee are slackers and i need to hear from them. sorry last week wasnt my greatest week of writing i was just a little busy.
But i love you guys and want you to know that the church is true. Out here the church is way strong and everyone helps everyone. Gardner and I are facing more opposition this week, than ive faced all my mission i think alot of good things are going to happen soon and they will happen because this is the lords work and i take pride in that quite frankly. And im not boasting of my own strength but i do boast in the strength of the lord. I love it out here.

Hey dad i love you and im really happy to hear about your friend. Being out here is so much fun i just recently got a new companion and he is a really good guy his name is elder gardner and we just click. My last companion was kind of hard to be with ha ha all of his comps before him had a hard time too. Im trying to be the best companion for all of my comps so they can have fun and we can work hard. I love being out here and i miss you guys but the work is keeping me busy. So lester is one of our investigators who were trying to get baptized. He has already committed himself to be baptized but because of his back hes having a hard time getting there. Hes given up smoking and drugs so he can do this. Dad im grateful for helping me grow into the young man that i am, I really look up to you and love you.

I know that this church is the only true church in the world, and that the gospel of jesus christ is for everyone. I know that he lives and that joseph smith was and is a true prophet of god and that the restoration did happen.

Hey Hulet Family,

I want you guys to know how much i love you, and how grateful for the support you are giving me so i can be here. There is no greater work for the salvation of the souls, and every soul is so important to our savior, and our father. Jesus Christ had perfect love for all of his children thats why he was able to make it through the agony of the atonement. He knew all of our souls were on the line. Missionary work for me has had its ups and downs but there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone come to Christ. I haven't baptized anyone yet but thats okay because i think we will have a few next week :) This week was pretty slow. :/ Im getting a new companion tomorrow his name is elder gardener im way excited! Im way happy for Jake! Iove jake and ashlee alot i miss being around them ha ha.. Anyways im really busy today, I need to prepare for the week! Love you guys,

Dear Mom, Dad, Jake and Ashlee

Hey im loving being out here the work is hard but this is the most important thing anyone could do. So i encourage you guys to be a missionary family in the ward. Always be an example of Jesus Christ and take the time to get to know and love our neighbors because they are all gods children. But i bought a card reader and im going to upload some pictures today! i hope it works! So my first transfer is up after this week, ive loved every minute of it even tho its been hard at times. I know that the lord is watching over me and the people were teaching. So elder Genereux is my companion at first we didn't get along but now were getting along pretty good. If you think im full of myself and that i look in the mirror alot Genereux is ten times more vain than me. ha ha but we get along pretty good now. We put a boy named patrick on date to be baptized in the next couple of weeks and also a guy named lester. The spirit testifiyed to both of them that what we were teaching them is the truth. Im so grateful to be here serving the lord and being his servant, I know that our Savior Jesus Christ lives.

  Hey Becky i love you Thank you for the encouragement.

I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ restored to us through the prophet Joseph smith. He was and is a prophet of the lord, other than Jesus Christ he did more for the children of god than any other prophet. Our savior atoned for the sins of man, the only one who could take the sins of man and make a sacrifice for them so we could return home. I love my savior.

Hey Family

I want to tell you how much i love being here and that i know that this work is the lords work. You guys should have the missionaries over for dinner or somthing! Get involved in the work, reach out to our neighbors and anyone you can i promise that if you do your love for others and the savior will grow! But ive heard about the cold front coming thru north america so stay warm and drive safe :) So anyways my companion is named elder genereux we are working really hard our goal is to have 3 baptisms in three weeks. as soon as we set our goal we have seen multiple people come into our teaching pool that may be ready for baptism in a few weeks. So first were teaching a guy names reid he is an athiest, hes a really cool guy weve been teaching him for about three weeks now. Weve helped him make and keep some commitments. He prayed the other day and this week he came to church with his jehovas witness wife ha ha so it just goes to show that if you put just a small seed of faith into your heart and let it grow good things will come of it. So we want to get him into the font theres also another guy who popped out of nowhere his name is lester. Lester is quite the interesting fellow. The other day we swung by his house to visit him and we invited him to go on a church tour. He was more than happy so we took him on a tour of the chapel and the font. Everything we taught him about the restoration he accepted! We then asked him to follow the example of jesus christ by being baptized by someone holding the priesthood authority of god. He then said that he felt the spirit very strong, and that he wanted to be baptized. So were praying for him and his family that they will go thru with it! We have a few other investigators that may be baptized as well somehow we will reach our goal! I know the lord is guiding me and my comp.

Dad

 I just sent a letter home on tuesday it may be for sarah but it has my mailing address on it. ha ha yeah most likely ill just email home because its easy and im busy all of the time. But i love this work dad. Jesus Christ lives and he leads and guides me daily. On tuesday i went on an exchange down to orting it was such a blessing for me. we taught an old couple names will and delores they were receptive to our message and the spirit of god was in their home the peace we felt was amazing. Will wants to be baptized and his wife is getting there. Im a little sad i cant go back to teach them because they are such good people. But my area is full of great people who we are teaching right now. We hope to get two people on date for baptism this week, we know the lord is helping us in our efforts.

Okay thats sick! yeah i love elder alger hes a good friend of mine but havent seen him since we got here. But yeah i sent a letter home for sarah because i dont know her address but yeah find out what her address is for me. Ill be uploading a ton of pictures soon! So when you get that letter it has the return address on it. I love it here in the mission field. Tell jake and ashlee how much i know the lord is watching over them and that they can accomplish anything they want. but yeah let me give you my mission scripture Alma 42:31. Sorry ive been trying to communicate with sarah through you so much. I just want her to write me.  Im so greatful to be here this is the best experience of my life. All we do is serve people and teach them about we can help them recieve eternal life and live with their families forever. Mom i callenge you to be a leader in our family and show everyone in our family how much you love and have faith in the lord. I love you mom
